HiTec Fortress

Description: Do you have an international group that you want to treat with a visit to one of the most interesting attractions in Finland? Maybe they have also heard of Finland being one of the leading countries in developing the newest technology? Why not take them to HiTec Fortress, an event that combines the two? The visitors will be taken to Maritime Fortress of Suomenlinna, a unique historical landmark located on a group of islands right outside Helsinki.

Participants from teams are equipped with Nokia imaging mobile phones (mobile phones with camera) and are led through a series of tasks. The tasks are based on the history of this unique attraction. The participants will learn interesting facts about Suomenlinna´s past and present in a fun way. The tasks require team skills, creativity and of course problem solving skills. Throughout the competition, the tool for receiving the tasks and delivering the answers is the imaging phone and MMS-services (multimedia services). A nice snack is served during the event.

Later in the evening, our HiTec Fortress host will present the results in a wrap-up session: photos taken by teams (and some by our guides), scores earned by the teams, and of course the final results. After the event, the results and photos will be available on web, using a password given to the participants.

If the visit’s purpose is a business meeting and the target of your event is to deliver some messages to your participants (e.g. strategy training for employees, product benefits for customers or partners), we have the ability to include your facts messages to the competition as tasks. Consider this as an option, it can really boost the effect of your message!
