HiTec Forest
Description: Do you have an international group that you want to treat with a visit to the Finnish forest? Maybe they have also heard of Finland being one of the leading countries in developing the newest technology? Why not take them to HiTec Forest, an event that combines the two? The visitors will be taken to Nuuksio national park, about 40 min drive from Helsinki City. Participants from teams that are equipped with Nokia imaging mobile phones (mobile phones with camera) are led through a series of tasks. By the tasks, participants experience the Finnish nature and learn about it. Some tasks require the team to use their imagination and team skills. Throughout the competition, the tool for receiving the tasks and delivering the answers is the imaging phone and MMS-services (multimedia services). A tasty snack with coffee/tea by campfire is served during the event. The activity can be taken also to other sites than Nuuksio, considering the group´s program and daylight conditions.
Later in the evening, our HiTec Forest host will present the results in a wrap-up session: photos taken by teams (and some by our guides), scores earned by the teams and of course the final results. After the event, the results and photos will be available on web, using a password given to your participants.
Duration: 1,5 - 3 hours activity + 20-30 min wrap-up.
